HAZEL ANNE MANN
Hazel grew up in a dry-desolate-nuclear-waste shell of a town, void of artistic cultivation. She found a small oasis of artistic inspiration in the Art Department of Richland High School, and was able to re-kindle her love affair with drawing and painting. Armed with the unconditional admiration of her Art Teacher, who also went to Spokane Falls Community College, Hazel took a leap of faith, moved away from her friends and family, and embraced the rich community of artists in the Spokane region.
Currently, Hazel employs her time painting in acrylics. The inspiration of her art pieces come from the images of her imagination: plants, people, animals, all added together into one dynamic, dreamlike, conglomerate. Each piece is formulated to represent a new dimensional landscape.
