CHARTS - Open Theme Call for Artwork Donation

 

CHARTS (Child Humanitarian Arts) in Spokane, Washington seeks donation entries for a juried Art Show and Sale taking place May 5, 2017 at Liberty Gallery to benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

Awards: 1-year membership to CHARTS where we will host your artist biography page on our website recognizing your charitable donation. The ability to be part of making our community a better place for children in need.

 

CHARTS call for donation entry is open to:

a. Photographers and visual artists working in all sale-able mediums, and styles.

b. Writers to contribute to CHARTS website blog.

c. Entertainers for example; Musicians, Singers and Dancers to entertain at CHARTS events.

 

To have your artwork included in the inaugural exhibition and ART SALE May 5 at Liberty Gallery, the Deadline for delivery of artwork is April 18, 2017, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Liberty Gallery (Main and Washington downtown Spokane), however,  CHARTS will accept donations throughout the year for future events and also for the sale of donated artwork on the CHARTS website. 100 percent of proceeds from the sale of artwork will benefit established local children’s charities.  Currently our sole benefactor is Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.   CHARTS will expand to raise funds for additional established local children’s charities dependent upon success of the the program.  For more information please go to “CONTACT” page of the CHARTS website to reach one of charts organizers. http://www.charts.gallery/contact.html

  1.  Artist photograph
  2. Photograph of your donation piece valued at $50 - $500. Artwork should be ready to hang and all artworks             should be wired for hanging with d-hooks and wire (please include title, dimensions and recommended price)
  3. For “writers” or “entertainers” please write a note stating whether you are submitting as writer or an entertainer. (entertainers please feel free to send a photo or video of a previous performance)
  4.  A short biography approximately 100 words.
  5.  Links to your artist website, social media sites and email (you choose, any that may apply)
  6.  Up to four photos highlighting other works, accomplishments or performances.  Short videos may also be used.  These will be shown at the bottom of your artist biography.
  7. Your contact information.  Phone number, email, etc.
